My son got this and we decided to try it outside around midnight one night and it sounds like a woman being brutally murdered. So we blew it a few times and then like 5 minutes later the cops drove by. And they never drive by on my street cause we are at a dead end. So apparently you can hear it inside a house several hundred feet away if you blow it outside. It definitely functions. I think it is made from clay. Pretty cool and also pretty stupid.

It does somewhat sound like a scream but not as realistic sounding as the advertisment. My son still likes it though.

This thing is amazing I really love scaring my froends with it and I kinda wanna blow it in the middle of the night I haven’t yet but it really is load if you have the lung capacity you can get this to get really load and have that gutters scream we want with this whistle 10/10 highly recommend

This is very high quality! Heavier and a bit larger than expected. Careful, it’s made of ceramic or something of the sort. I have to say, I wasn’t thrilled with the idea of getting it regardless that the reviews said it was highly rated but as it turns out it was worth it. My son loves it, he’s scared me a few times with it and he loves that too. If you’re interested in getting one, this is definitely a great choice!

Arrived, packaging was excellent with it in the middle of a foam box in the box. First inspection, it is clearly ceramic and appears to be just one piece, no plastic. Now, the first blow I actually freaked myself out, wow! I then proceeded to head upstairs (where wife is) and stopped halfway up and blew it hard…..oh WOW she got MAD!!!! Scared her half to death. Well, this thing is loud and works as advertised, very happy with it.
